Peeps,

This weather today and tomorrow is not Spring but more summer like. Well, do not fret cause Spring is going to be back here mid week and last through the week. may warm back up next weekend but not 100% sure on that one..

I hope you all had a great weekend and took care of mom in whatever capacity she is (grandmothers, aunt, step mothers etc.). What gorgeous weather and thanks to big MOMMA – Mother Nature.

In my last post Friday said we would see humid weather Tuesday and highs near or at 90 degrees, right? We ll here we go as per the models looky see for oneself:

Even clouds/fog around we are in low 70s around NYC. 6z 4km NAM has 85-87 for NE NJ today. Then 88 for NE NJ and NYC tomorrow. Wouldn’t be surprised to see 89-92 somewhere, with enough sunshine and mixing. Looks much cooler later this week though. We may not get out of the 60s on Wednesday and 40’s at night- brrr!! Hahaha!

Said we were running above normal temps wise and below normal precipitation (rain ) wise:

These go by mostly airport symbols, these are the temperatures.
NYC: +7.3
EWR: +5.8 (Newark)
LGA:  +4.5
JFK:  +4.2
TTN:  +6.6 (Trenton)
PHL: +6.9
NYC 8 of the first 12 days have been 80 degrees or higher – a big reversal of Feb and March.
The AC has been pumping in many abodes in the area and will be these next two days.
Tomorrow afternoon and into the evening we may see scattered T-storm in the area . Not convinced yet.
Why is May so warm? Here is what was wrote by my boy Franky P on our weather board:
San Diego was/is cooler than normal because of this massive upper level low sitting over the SW CONUSEnlarge this image
Another trough is shown to move onshore next weekend, too.

And while the trough is over the west, the ridge will be over the east.

May is looking quite warm for us.

I hate to say this BUT Memorial Day weekend is iffy with a threat of rain in the long range.
Have a great day and how about that blizzard in the North Plains over the weekend – woop woop! And we complain – really?
