Let’s do a quick recap:
Friday – 4.5” of white gold even though Pro Mets and NWS called for 1-3” for our area and downplayed this system.
Monday – I called for 1-3” NNJ and 2-4” for NYC and 3-6/4-8” plus as you headed east out on the new snow mecca of the Mid Atlntic:
NNJ –Ugatz!! Well a coating last night
NYC – 2-2.5” in Queens, Brooklyn
LI – ranges from 3” outside of NYC to still snowing 7-8” out on the twin furks (forks I know!)
Tues/Wed: as modeled currently – complex set up and forecast
Said we may see 1-3” or 3-6”
Looks like a CNJ and South Jackpot 3- 6” – shocker there – they have jack potted on each storm so far and we have had to struggle to get these storms up this way
nnj/nyc metro – 2-3″ – models trended terribly last night and this morning thanks to Mr. No – the new nickname for the Euro
There is great amount of dry air between the storms and if this can erode we can see such amounts if not and we have a Juno repeat then we see a coating to 1″
If we pop a coastal off the NJ coast as was depicted last night then we see 3″ plus in NNJ and NYC Metro.

Bitter Cold – teens to 0-5 degrees for lows this upcoming weekend with the coldest hitting on Sweethearts Day so it is great weather to SHHHHNNUGGGLE with the one you love or your teddy bear if you so choose. This map shows it is coming straight from the Arctic right to NYC – hey send us a storm that is fit for not man nor beast while your at it!!!!

SO IN A NUTSHELL – SNOW SHOWERS AFTER 3PM FOR THE NYC METRO AREA THROUGH TOMORROW MORNING CAN RESULT 1-3″ PLUS – IT IS LIKE THUNDERSTORMS – ALLENDALE MAY GET 2″ AND HILLSDALE MAY GET A COATING THAT IS HOW CRAZY THIS SET UP IS, EXPLAINED ABOVE.
BITTER COLD FROM THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY – HEIGHT OF COLD SATURDAY AND SUNDAY
STORM POTENTIAL NEXT WEEK OF PRESIDENTS DAY 15-17TH TIME FRAME
