This is a shout out to two big weather weenies and love just love their enthusiasm as many of you share with me – Just Say Julie G and GBach. JSJ (=just say Julie) asked me at our Bd of Ed meeting Monday night flat out – “When is it going to snow” and I have to tell yuo I looked at my phone and watched two models (no not those models – Tyra B and Cindy C -RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!) but weather models and said holy crap Big Momma must have heard her and as teh great Emerald woudl say BAM – a frigging sneaky wave appeared with snow for our area. Now GBach – told him Tuesday as i walked through the back gym to get to my car that Thursday we could see 1-2″ of white gold or just enough to whiten teh ground and he said” Get the H out Mugs” and I said don’t be like your brother Brandon!

Rush hour maybe messy or downright slippery – yes they are out pre- treating the roads after last months debacle and we can see a heavy coating to 4″ in the NNJ area.

PB, Mary L, Sara (TOY- congrats and the competition I hear was fierce with some heavyweights  – Smitty, TRoc and yours truly), Britt, Titi and Uncle Mikey and anyone else in the Ruburbs of NW NJ, Orange or Northern Westchester Counties can see the 2-4″. The rest of us 1-2″ and Kuz this will stick to the roads up here due to the cold air we have had since this past weekend.

Then we watch for Monday/Tuesday system – will it be white or wet or both? Some areas see white, some see wet, some see both at this time.

This above isn’t rain but more of an icy mix (rain, sleet, freezing rain) in the green areas for NNJ and into NYC changing over to snow due to the low level cold air and the very colder ocean temps as noted in this map below compliments of PB from USAWx board.
