The models and NWS as well were a little snow drunk with the totals for NNJ and for the Tuesday and Thursday systems – .5” and 1” respectively when the models were calling for 2-4” and 2-3”. Not going to lie many have winter storm fatigue since there is SO MUCH ENERGY flying around the Polar Vortex which is setting up camp over ND/Wisconsin. It was supposed to make camp over the eastern shores Lake Michigan which would have been IDEAL but not to happen
Tonight into Sunday – Lover’s Day– periods of snow sleet and freezing rain with less than an .5” in total for all. Be careful tonight. Reports in CNJ are that freezing rain and sleet are falling.
Monday into Tuesday
This is very fine line so far between an all-out ice storm for the NNJ, NYC Metro, EPA and LHV regions or a snow to ice to rain storm. So, I say to you folks play it cautious, get prepared and hope for the best. The Greek has gas for the generator and Guerci has a home one so they are set – are you? Klass? EJ? Bach’s x4? Be prepared and not scared my weenies!!
Start time Monday late afternoon/evening
Ending: Tuesday morning
Snowfall – 1-3″ NNJ
Ice – sleet and freezing rain .25″ to .75″ – NNJ, NYC Metro, NWNJ, LHV, CNJ

Temperatures cash after teh storm that would really put the hurt on us – IF this were to occur schools would be not in person for a day or two or three??
Thursday into Friday
This is most likely the last wintry type storm for some time as the pattern relaxes and we have a milder pattern starting after next weekend unless something big happens that is not on the radars. But never fail March most likely will have something up its sleeve and time will tell before we get to the longer days of sunshine and spring season 7 weeks.
This would be the way this stretch
But not feeling it at this time to be honest.
