Census
Did you fill it out? April 1st it was due and easy peasy took all of 5 minutes online. Did you know that in the 1910 and 1920 census, as I researched my great grandfather at Temple Square in Salt Lake City, there we over 70 questions? And it was filled out by hand and by people who walked door to door and filled it out with most Americans. It took years to do the census back then. A few questions that struct me – is there an idiot living in your home? IS there a moron living in your home? Is there an imbecile living in your home? These questions would not be asked by any means today BUT could be answered!!

Why schools are having full day sessions is beyond me – it is ludicrous this is not online learning this is crises mode for God’s sake. How can parents who are stressed to begin with and teachers to top it off expected to WORK and help teach tehir kids as well?? What planet are we on? What admin thinks this is proper, right or appropriate during this time? WRONG!!!! This is a time to yes teach but scale it back bigly please – delayed opening are appropriate as are Split session delayed opening schedules. Cut the ego crap and the showing them tudes and be real – we have a NATIONAL CRISES and should not be worried if Jimmy or Suzy are getting enough school work or able to get onto their computers.
Schools, remember this is not the new normal. This is just surviving a crisis. You don’t build a new home in a storm, you weather the storm and then regroup once it’s over.

Upcoming Pattern = yuck!
Wasn’t today just lovely as they say in Ireland?? That it was – cleaned out my garage and this weekend wsa lovely too. My wife and I are starting a garden to grow our own vegetables – spinach, tomatoe, peppers, squash, rosemary herb, chives and string beans.
So enjoy tomorrow as well and get outside cause it gets downright FUGLY!!!!!!!!!!
