I called 6-10″ for NNJ into the LHV – here’s the actual
Started in NNJ around 5PMish and it snowed until 4:30/5AMish.
School closings – many and DO the other half – stopped to soon though you think 8″ woudl eb enough to close schools guess what…………….IT WASN’T!!!!!!!!!!! he problem was the temperature hung at 32* if it was 30 or 28* then our snow ratios woudl have been 10:1 or 12:1 instead of 8:1 and we would have had a 12″ -18″ snowstorm.

5 4 5
This means we had 5 consecutive days of measurable snow – five for five (5 4 5 get it??)
We tied a record – incredible:
An interesting snowfall record at Central Park in New York City was tied today. For only the 3rd time in 150 years of records, measurable snowfall (at least 0.1") was recorded at Central Park for 5 consecutive days. The previous instances were Feb 10-14, 1923 and Jan 10-14, 1938 pic.twitter.com/5Yim31eqgg

He is wrong and set many of you spring well wishers up. Winter aint going away as once thought after this weekend – will it will warm up to spring like 50’s and maybe 60 temps next week BUT it looks to return around the 17thish and last through then end of teh month. there will be snow possibilities but with us Springing ahead this weekend and the sunlight hours extending and teh sun angle growing to October sun angle this month to get snow to accumulate yuo need it to happen at night and need the temperature to be 30*, 32* won’t really cut it this time of year.
Could this be right Friday into Saturday??
