On this last day of March or Februarch (February and March combined) we shall see April come in like a roaring tiger as well.
Sunday night well very early Monday morning we shall see more white gold, say what?? Yes and this is the beginning of a very below normal temperature wise and possibly historic snowy period for April (1st 12 days). Now how much will accumulate is the question since we have had a warm time frame with temps in the 50’s, yes warmer than what we just experienced these past three-weeks, and the sun angle is what is equivalent to early/mid September this time of the year. So put it into perspective this is like a snowstorm on September 14??? That would send the GW (Global Warming)into a frenzy. Oh, let us not start this GW argument here – THIS IS NOT DUE TO GW for the love of Pete – it is due to low solar activity and the domino effect of it since November on our Stratosphere that then propagating down to our troposphere and as we say sensible weather (is it really sensible??)
Okay here we go:
Timing:
- Start 2-3AMish start
- Ending: 10 AM ish
- Accumulations – 1-3″ on grassy, mulch and colder surfaces, pavement accumulates maybe an inch
More of a nuisance at this time.
Snow maps show how much snow will fall from the sky not how much will actually accumulate – these are not programmed for this.
AGAIN this may accumulate on colder surfaces but not as much on roads due to the sun angle and thermal profiles at this time.
It will melt as fast as it falls once the storm is over and teh sun comes out.
A white Xmass, New Year and now Easter – the Tr- Fecta!!! Well a day late for Easter.
Look at the temperature from normal for Feb crazy +6 degrees above normal second warmest on record
Now look at March 2-3 degrees below normal for a vast NNJ area!
Next Friday night into Saturday again
