Yesterday’s storm was a bit of disappointment since it came in and it was not sticking until noon ish or thereafter. Why do I say this you ask? Because last week we had an arctic air mass if you recall and with this storm this would have easily been a 6-10″ snowstorm and schools would have easily been closed. Now I know schools in the Hudson valley did and many in western NJ had an ED = Early Dismissal. Temperatures stayed at 33 degrees which in March is not going to cut it and it would not in any winter month but certainly not March.
Saturday Storm – Nor’easter?
It seems we may have another cyclone genesis storm taking shape again on a Saturday. The storm comes up from the south and has no cold air in place but as it deepens it will draw down some very cold arctic air that will take the rain and change it over to sleet then snow quickly and winds will be gusting to 40mph Saturday afternoon and night actually through Sunday. Sunday will be cold and blustery. Good day for a Stew, Pasta Faggioli, homemade pasta etc. – you see my Italian bias here??
Saturday morning, we should see the transition from rain to snow sometime around 10AM in the NYC metro region.
Storm totals – NYC Metro is C – 3″, SE Connecticut is in this range

Big Warm Up then….
Midweek we should see temps rebound in time for the great Irish celebration of St Patrick who actually was not Irish and was actually tortured. So he is an adopted holiday?? Seems to be but as they say Erin Go Braugh and tip one back. After the warm up winter looks to want to make one last stand for the end of March possibly the 22nd-25th time frame.

Yes, the conflict is brutal and the west may have a hand in this for sure but that is for another discussion. Do not believe all you see and Putin is NOT going away, you’re hitting the peace pipe too much then if you believe this and the economic sanctions???? They hurt us more than him. How you ask again?
Oil – he supplies us with 660K barrels of oil a day out of our 20.5 million per day usage. Seems like nothing but it is having affect over time of course.
Food – Russia produces about 15-20% of the world grains and we embargo this as we said we are then grain shortages and prices which our whole food pyramid in the gluttonies country is based off of. Yes, we have our own but the world doesn’t have enough and they are going to come to us for help.
Also with food they produce 30% of the world fertilizers for crops…. hmmmmm. Without this our foods have a tough time growing here – you see where this is going??
Food shortages abound this summer – chaos worldwide over the food shortages.
So why won’t this hurt Putin? Because Russia inked a deal with who else…. China and Iran. China is buying from our money that we give them for buying all their cheap goods that we do not and refuse to produce/manufacture in America since the late 1990’s literally. China is buying the grains and oil, Iran the grains and military supplies.
Watch for the new Triangle Alliance to test the waters of aggression – China into Taiwan and Iran tries Israel. They all want to draw us in and we are not strong enough to do so against even one of them.
Metals and Uranium – Silver 7% of worlds precious metal produced/ mined there and gold 8% is mined there as well as nickel, copper and Uranium 30% of worlds Uranium that is used for nuclear.
So I have laid out why this will hurt us and he will keep his tyrannical war machine oiled and it will be from our money indirectly.
