Here are the temperature anomalies – differences between the Normal highs/lows for this time of the year – if this were the heart of winter we’d be about single digits to zero/below zero for highs and single digits to 20 below for lows possibly colder. If you had a snow pack on the ground with clear skies with this Polar Vortex Air mass you’d be crying uncle!!!!!

Road to Crisis
This is getting bad and the freezers for the major food processing plants have about 2 weeks’ worth of reserves. This is a far cry from when Mr. Perdue the Dept. of Agriculture head said there is no nor there will be a food shortage, we have plenty of food!!! Just like DeBalsio telling New Yorkers on March 5th to “go about your regular daily life and go out and have fun” – remember that folks?
Wendy’s Fast Food Chain has pulled meat products from 26% of their restaurants – they don’t have any to sell you!! Meat prices are rising, shortages and rationing are abound and will continue for the foreseeable future as is poultry – I have been warning ALL of you about this for some time and I hate to say it but it’s coming to fruition. People waited 2 hours on line to get milk from a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. Don’t be a Metro Area snob, it’s real and it will hit hard and fast. Andrea P what I tell ya – mid May right?

Hcane – watching closely
Unfortunately, it's looking like we might have to start watching the Gulf for some potential sub/tropical cyclone development over the next week.
Sea surface temperatures are already a few degrees above normal so it's certainly not impossible for this time of year. pic.twitter.com/kHpUJR0ZGB
