RECAP OF THE STORM:

Measured 3″ of white gold – snowed from 1PM ish until 7:30 then we had ice here in NNN and like I said never underestimate the arctic cold dense air – that sucker hung on til 7AM much much longer than anyone anticipated caused heavy, dangerous icing conditions in NNJ and the LHV. 2″ OF WHITE GOLD IN THE CITY AND LI

.25″ of ice recorded – I missed by.05″ of an inch – oh well but called teh 2-4″.

Also, most schools had delayed opening like I said from NW Bergen County over for NNJ – all teh way over to teh Delaware River for God’;s sake.

then, it all washed away boo friggin hoo with a torrential rain – I recorded 1.34″ of rain and a 36 mph wind gusts – what crazy weather but this is typical for strong El Nino’s wild storms and temperature swings.

FEBRUARY CALL BACK IN MID NOVEMBER

*February – AO and NAO come together and the AO presses down on us at times

Temps – 2-3* below normal – cold with a couple of severe arctic outbreaks (CHECK, NOT DONE YET)

Precip – Above Normal (WILL BE CHECKED OFF)

Snow: above normal – 10”+ (CLOSE TO BEING A CHECK –  2-5=  4″  &    2-14= 3″ STORMS)

Storms: Coastals and I am calling for a Godzilla (12”+) (NEXT WEEK?)

NEXT WEEK WE MAY SEE ANOTHER COASTAL – TUES – THURSDAY TIMEFRAME AS THE PATTERN STARTS TO SET UP INTO A MORE WINTER PATTERN. COULD A SNOW TO RAIN TO SNOW SCENARIO OR IT COULD BE A AN ALLSNOW SCENARIO.

THE CEILING IS PRETTY HIGH FOR THE AMOUNT OF SNOW MEANING LIKE 6″ PLUS IF IT COMES TOGETHER OR 12″ PLUS IF IT REALLY COMES TOGETHER!! tHE pv WILL BE LOOKING TO COME/PRESS DOWN ON US AND WE HAVE A HUGE RIDGE SHAPING UP IN THE WEST – WE NEED SOME HELP FROM ATLANTIC AND WE CAN ROCK N ROLL BIG TIME. JUST KEEP IN MY THAT THIS IS WHEN WE MAY SEE A COASTAL.
