Peeps,

“Poppa” Noto

My good friend and right hand man when I coached varsity soccer at Northern Highlands and at HHK Middle School passed sway early the morning at they believe 3AM. He was an extremely kind, generous and loving person. He always had the best interest of the people he was around and loved to be social and talk politics, philosophy and sports. He suffered a severe stroke last May that kept him bed bound and his left side was paralyzed. The irony of this day is that 1 year ago I went in to have surgery to remove the cancerous tumor in my large intestines. He came to see me the Tuesday after I got home and two days later suffered a mild heart attack then a severe stroke. The horrible aspect was no one was able to see him at the rehab center since March 15th. He contracted COVID last Thursday and they believe had a stroke again this weekend. I am going to miss him for he was not just not a friend but a mentor in a way, a confidant, like another grandfather to my children and he was family. I ask that you please say a prayer for his wife barb, sons, Scott and Chris and his family – brother, sister in law, nieces and nephews, and for his soul that he is with God and his departed family, and he is now free of pain.

RIP Poppa Noto aged 76.

Weekend = 10!

Get out and enjoy!! Weekend temps around 70 degrees and sunny!

Saturday

Sunday

Much cooler along the ocean/beach by a good 10 degrees

Open ‘er up

Murphy has announced today the he is opening up the public parks adn golf courses this Saturday, must have read my report from Monday LOL!

Did not quite understand why he shut them down – gold courses. You play with a mask on, and your social distancing if you play the game correctly right Ray M?? And your outside in the sun which kills ANY virus in about 30 seconds.

Schools will not be announced until the May 15th time frame.

We have currently a 2% infection rate and of that  80% are asymptomatic. That means no symptoms. The remainder of that 20% only 5% are hospitalized by the information the has been published. So we are on the down slope of this curve!!!!

Cool/Cold 1st Half of May

It will be about 7 degrees below normal. That means the temperature will be in the mid to upper 50’s with night time lows into he low 40’s and mid 30’s for ruburb areas (rural suburbs). This all start Tuesday next week. Here is the temperature anomaly – map – GREEN is colder air.
