Lots of mixed forecasts being shown for the Nor’Easter/Coastal Low that will be affecting our area Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning – just like this past winter these darn models can’t agree on what is to come.
Scenario #1 – rain 1-2″ plus with winds from 15-25mph – more as yuo move towards the coast of NJ, LI and NYC, less as yuo move N&W – seems to be the pattern for some time now
These winds are in KNOTS not MPH but convert
Scenario #2 less wetness maybe .5″ to 1″ and less winds 15mph
I am going to take the middle and say .75 to 1.55″ of rain with 15-25 mph winds – more winds and rain as you move closer to the coast with some minor coastal flooding and beach erosion – I know not what you want to hear with a 5-6 days before we open the summer weekend.
IF the GEFS are right we heat up after Wednesday as it breaks down teh block on the West Coast and NAO region – this my fellow weather weenies is a warm pattern – 80’s warm and possibly 90!!!
