Okay folks it is time for the shore folks sorry to have to this but after the latest model runs it is shaping up to be a BAD TROPICAL CYCLONE: So I am sounding the alarm for you folks
The storm is modelled to deepen strengthen due to the anomalous water temps and 250 jet streak that is going to one allow this to deepen and become stronger and increase its effects .
Do not take this lightly – TV MEts have been almost poo pooing this and saying it is going to go east -true but after it comes west, retrogrades to teh coast. It is NOT MAKING LANDFALL thank frickin god BUT it will be long in duration – a few high tides and here is the storm surge forecast AT THIS TIME

I know Atari graphics but it shows the surge being 5′ um Sandy was 8-10′ – yea no kidding!!
Oh and lets add teh astronomical high tide thanks to teh new moon – +1′ and 8-14′ waves and yuo have a recipe for moderate to sever flooding and damage.
his is 50 -100 miles for REALLY laying the pile driver on us – it will hit us with a sledge hammer but a notehr jog west by 50 miles and we from teh coast to teh Del River can see 6″ of rain and Hc ane force wind gusts.
Timing looking at Sunday afternoon night now through Monday night/Tuesday morning – teh storm has slowed by models – feeling the effect of teh HP to its North and then a trough that will swingthrough the Great LAkes to tug it back towards the coast. Timing i skey and if that trough captures the storm and tugs hard it will slingshot to a degree towards the coast – like a 2 year old trying to run away from his parents!
My prediction from my last post yesterday about the conditions – wind, rain, etc have not rerally changed.
