The storm took a big jog west thus moving NYC metro in the 4-6″ range and NNJ into the 3-6″. 3″ in NW NJ and 4-5″ in NE NJ. CNJ is 4-6/7″ as well.

Start time: 11PMish now breaking out fast

End Time: 10AMish

Heaviest snows 2am to 7am period.

Snowfall rates 1-2″ per hour in that time frame.

Radar blossoming quickly and ahead of schedule which bodes well for more snow !

Major commuting issues.

School will most likely close. Hear that?? Timing is on the school kids side with this.

Bitter cold follows this weekend and next week.

Saturday morning

Pattern is loaded from end of next week through end of January. Many potential storms and next weekend we can see a major snowstorm.
