Ice Ice baby verifies

Well, the ice was MUCH more than originally predicted and modelled by 5 fold!! The snow was absolutely abhorrent, basically non existent and had .10.

Total for the storm was 1/2″ of snow and ice.

Rain was .20″

So what happened? The warm air overrode the cold air and the layer was thicker in the atmosphere than modelled, deeper as it would be said. And precipitation was spotty at best until about 9:30AM thorugh 1PM. IF it was all snow we’d have had 3-5″ easily.

I blew the snowtotals as did every weather outlet but was closer on the ice than many others who had a glaze.

Schools all DOed (Delayed Openings) and cancelled so my 90% call for school off was a good call overall.

Then again Tuesday night into Wednesday morning= all snow and could be a MECS – a major east coact storm = 6-12″ type storm.
