Snow Mon & Thurs/Fri
Light snow for us in NNJ dusting to a coating but as you work your way south it increases – SOUTH of RT 78 that were the snow starts to accumulate. SNJ will get absolutely smoked!! Looking at 6” plus from about Pt Pleasant on South. No school for them down here!
Cuz in Middletown may need to break out the shovel!!
If it trends South then this forecast busts and snow the snow totals shift South. Nowcast time is what this becomes as we watch patiently.

But it’s too warm right? It won’t stick will it? Well temps crash bigly tonight by about 25 degrees plus so when it comes in around 7AM up here in NNJ it will be cold for a few hours – just enough to make the surface stickage. Your extreme weather I am talking about! 55 degrees to 21 degrees in 16 hours!!

What can change? A lot if a few things happen as explained in the map – visuals are the best! Then if so the snow amounts will move Northwest as will the storm – surprises in store?? Maybe. A 25 -50 mile tick/jump NW would be incredible.
Thursday/Friday has a nice storm signal and the EURO shows a banger for the NNJ/NYC Metro, LHV region.
Pattern Change ..Finally
I know I called this a while ago and it kept getting delayed …but will not be denied peeps. The MJO is phase 7 and 8 means a colder and stormier East of Mississippi weather pattern. Follow the lime green line
The second or third week of January we have what we call a NESIS snowstorm that will be on par with some of the bigger snowstorms to hit our region, my bold call!
COLDER LOOK Next week – five degrees below normal
EURO is WOWZA COLD – 10 to 15 degrees below normal

Peeps we will keep on experience extreme weather events not only here in our backroad but worldwide as the Earth magnetic field is shifting, the Sun is waking up and sending large amounts of protons, neutrons at our planet, our Magnetosphere which is out outer most layer of protection is eroding and by about 2025 it will be down to about 25% protection against flares, comets etc.
