Happy Meteorological Summer!

I hope this message finds you safe and healthy. Today is the official start to meteorological summer, yes that is true. It is not astrological (starts June 21st which is the longest daylight day of the year!) but meteorological. Metrological summer runs from June 1st to Sept 1st in case you were asking.
It was 43* here in my abode tis morning – 43!!!! Many areas in NNJ were in the upper 30’s!!
Hurricane Season
Well, we also start our official Hcane season today and that runs through November 30th. Now we have had two tropical storms so far and they still count even though they are out of season. Bertha was meager at best and in my time tracking these tropical cyclones it should not have been classified as a tropical storm. A depression at best but not a storm.
Forecasts call for:
16 – 22 storms this season – this means storms that are named a tropical storm including Arthur the Aardvark and Big Bertha LOL!
9-11 of these as hurricanes
3-5 as Major Hurricanes – Category 3 to 5 – these are destructive in nature
8-11 landfalls – includes Big Bertha
The MJO is in a favorable phase say what?? I know gibberish to your eyes and brain. It is called the Madden Julian (named after the two men who discovered, well researched and study this phenomena in the equatorial pacific and Indian Oceans.
“The Madden–Julian oscillation (MJO) is the largest element of the intraseasonal (30- to 90-day) variability in the tropical atmosphere. It was discovered in 1971 by Roland Madden and Paul Julian of the American National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR).”
The pressure pattern over North America and the Oceans has the tracks of these storms – a majority NOT ALL!! Into the Gulf state and up the eastern seaboard. The last Cat 2 Hcane to hit NJ was in 1903. The barrier islands up through Monmouth County were covered with feet of ocean – the Atlantic reclaimed this land. It made landfall in Cape May County.

So we have a percolation in the Gulf of Mehico and this bad boy looks to aim at the Gulf States from Four eyes that can’t see and Tex-arse LOL! Did you get that?

Folks for all those who are wondering why this spring was so cold or below normal we have a cooling equatorial pacific ocean – the MJO – there they are again – was in the colder phases with the tropical convection in the Indian Ocean region. Here are how chilly overall the temps were. Isn’t Global Warming for a vast majority of the USA here folks.
Grand Solar Minimum is in full effect and we are seeing Notilucent Clouds, wild auroras as far south as the Upper Midwest, night time lights dancing through hour atmosphere in green, red and yellow colors validating the wall, cave carvings of ancient civilizations. Awesome and yet somewhat nerve racking for some.
June Outlook
Cooler 1st half and then the heat and humidity look to move in from the Southern Atlantic and Gulf of Mehico bodies of water as the Bermuda High Pressure looks to take hold. BUT if these (3x a lady) MJO phases and convection keep firing up over the Indian Ocean and knock down this or beat back this Bermuda High Pressure then we’ll be much more comfortable. No whining or crying it is what it is either way
Attacks
I have had many attacks on this blog, website by spam, bots but groups and “other” orgs who want to shut me down and up from my posts about COVID since the last month I was exercising my rights (Freedom of Speech) as an American. Hmmm …….I guess I am not going with their “narrative” so they tried to take me out – no not personally but on the web. This is wrong in every sense and thanks to my tech guru and buddy Geurci who has protected my, this site from this. We are talking hundreds since Midish April. I have seen it in a micro and macro now world that if you don’t wish to play ball by their rules, they kick you out but even more so.
What happened to Floyd was disgusting, no one is saying otherwise and those cops need to pay the price absolutely.
The riots in this country are ridiculous folks. There is no need for this. Peace protests are all good and I did partake in one at college over a massive tuition increase that was unfair and ridiculous. We did it peacefully and guess what they worked with us in an amicable manner. That is how you make inroads and change.
I have friends who are on the front lines these past few nights. IT”S SCARY!!!! The stories of composure by these men and woman is incredible. Analogy one gave me “ I want those who say we should take this from these thugs and have this happen – any person comes up to you and cusses you and your family out saying the most vile foul language and then punching you in the face and then stomach and you have to take it without retaliation”. It is strength to do this.

Listen here, I went to high school in Paterson and some of my friends were Hispanic, African Americans, and Eastern Europeans. I played ball with them, hung out with them and broke bread with them in my home and theirs. There is no need for this violence and proper force must be taken to restore order. You who like I live in a Lilly white suburb now BUT I grew up in this area (urban) can tell you if you don’t clamp down these thugs they will destroy their city and then look to move out to the burbs next once they see they have no resistance. They are humans – this is innate in us and in nature – path of least resistance – ring a bell?
ANTIFA, Neo Nazi’s as my intel insiders are the ones behind this have told me needs to be rooted out, tried for treason and ANYONE attached to them monetarily or supports them in anyway needs to be sent away.

COVID??
So where is COVID? It is literally over – warmer weather will prevail over this virus as it has on the past millenniums of virus. The CDC is saying it needs to “reevaluate” the number of deaths for their cause.

Honored Speaker
I was honored this past weekend in being the guest speaker at the Relay For Life at the Pascack Valley. I am he fortunate one who is a survivor but the fight never ends for one with cancer – it is always there and you MUST fight in many ways to beat this. Vegetable Garden
I have planted in our two 8” x 3’ raised garden beds the following – Cauliflower, tomatoes, broccoli, beans, squash, and salad. I have asparagus, artichokes, eggplant and kale left to plant so I need a bigger box LOL!!
