PHIL SAYS …..bring on spring!!!! We have had spring about 5x already this winter if yuo want to call it that.

Winter Records this week
Cold n Snow in the Western USA may contest records. These have been broken in the most unlikely areas and no not due to GW – such a dichotomy that is – its cold because its warm, I am poor so I am rich??? Anyway areas like Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates – yes the desert on the Persian Gulf bath waters, areas in India, Pakistan all breaking cold adn snowfall records.
For us we are moving record territory for the AO = Atlantic Oscillation Look at that spike on FEB 9th – record territory for this – 5-6 Standard Deviations above normal
AN the NAO North Atlantic Oscillation This is another record breaker
So what does this mean – it means we are warm but we have a friend in Alaska that may help bleed cold into are east of the Great Lakes.
EPO – when this is Negative it allows cold air to move from Alaska and the Siberian Region across the NA continent to the coast if all goes right, IF!!
