Well, there is going to be no rest for the weary or Al Q for that matter with what I am seeing shaping up these next few weeks. Snow weenies will be rejoicing like his T Frey, K Dawg, J Clover, C Sonett, Teddi S, Jodi M and her Momma Gulda S. to name a few :
The possibilities happened this week oh yes they did peeps but not around here LOL. Up in Delaware and Sullivan Counties NY this occurred and points North – I was just about 80 miles off LOL.

Don’t sleep on Sunday’s storm just yet for the far NW ruburbs about 50 miles from the coast but ski resorts should do well with this one. That’s okay for now.
Need more cold air to be drawn in look at the blue colors need those to move 500 SE for us to dance – doable?? about 25% chance at this time

Frozen TURKEY – THANKSGIVING BRUTAL COLD (for this time of year!)
Oh yes going for the record on Turkey day here peeps for the cold and it is a MADONNEEEE cold. If this were mid January the temps would be in the below zero digits (single to teens)with wind chills in the minus 20 -30 range in some spots. Temps will be in the teens with wind chills from -5 to 8 degrees.

Okay lets not project here but fact being the cold is coming straight from the Arctic: Red line is the track of the cold express!
Mammoth pattern
Peeps, I alluded to this in my last post and nothing has changed. Get out your snow blowers, prime these bad boys, get your snow shovels sharpened, buy he ice melt, take out the ice scrapers and get out the hats and gloves
This map shows the red orangy color over Greenland and Canada which means a block is forming that will lock in storms and cold, The deep blue means lower pressures for storms to follow and cut underneath this block. This animation shows them rolling from the NPAC and West Coast bellying under the block and up the eastern seaboard.

Monday Dec 3rd Time frame
Would be Thursday – Friday/Saturday Dec 6- 7th time frame – could be a monster!!
Do not look at these maps at this range and says are you hanging at the Cannibas Farm again?? It’s rain. What it shows precipitation type isnt set in stone and with teh blocking overhead it argues for a colder solution – mix, snow type.
Smoke makes it all the way to the cost from the California fires wow!!
