Peeps,
Happy Passover and Happy Easter!! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
I said in my April 10th post we woudl see Frost and Freeze Warning on Tuesday night and I was one night off – RATS!!
Frosty and Freeze
My thermometer hit a low of 28 degrees this morning here in H’dale, NJ, Geurci Land hit 22* and are going to get a 6-12″ of white gold tonight! The question remains, will this be the last one of this season? The answer is in two letters……..N….O = NO!!!!
As we leave April and head into 1st week of May I ssupect we may see more of this and even record chalenging cold waves.
From the Grand Wizard of Weather Bell, Joe Bastardi:
“Its a late spring this year for alot of areas where we grow food, We were warning our clients, And it now ups the ante for the fall as there are going to be places in the midwest where planting may be a few weeks behind schedule as there is some freak potential IMO the first week of May. All the way down to I-20, the last frost may not have occurred IMO. So some of the latest ever cold/snow records if not broken may be challenged.”

I can't imagine the effort it took to clear all the snow from around this SUV that was buried in a snowbank in Richardton, North Dakota. And look how much snow is still on the roof! Thanks to Rebecca J. for this photo. #NDwx #Blizzard pic.twitter.com/piyPxNSyPf
