I am officially 
It has been a winter of severe disappointment no two, three or billion ways about it. What was shaping up to be a cold and snowy winter for our are has gone poof from literally teh 1st full day of winter on Dec 22nd as the pattern has set up to our North and West so far. West of the Appalachians have fared well this winter as the dip in the Meriodonal flow of the jet that I called for has set up but just not here!!
Tonight again NW of NYC like 50-65 miles will see a dosage albeit light (2-5″) of snow.
Here you Valentine Storm again NW of NYC by a good 60 miles see about 2-5″
The main culprit:
The Tropical Pacific around Tahiti to Australia –
this is causing the pattern to be to our west and take a SW to NE trajectory jusstttttt a bit outside

So get the umbrellas ready for a soaker of a rainstorm tomorrow (Monday) and again at the end of the week.
Look at this cold as the storm departs Saturday night:
ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME!! 36 hours earlier and we have a potential 12″ plus snowstorm!! NOT happening thought.
