Been sometime since I last wrote. I said that September would be a torch and my God has it been. We are on pace to have the warmest September EVERRRRRRRRRRRRR – did I say EVERRRRRRRRRRRR!! Mother of hot tamales!
We are running 5-8 degrees above normal. The pattern finally seems to be heading into a fall like direction as it started with the gorgeous day yesterday Sunday and the ones that will beupon us this week. Temps for highs in the low to mid 70’s and lows, the nights are getting longer now peeps, into the 50’s and some areas N&W into the 40’s!!! Get out the blanky Linda cause the next few nights you may need it – great sleeping weather and my a/c is very thankful. She worked her but off this summer and this weekend I will make a post to see how I did with my summer. Hint – not bad.
Some area in Upstate NY had frost on the pumkin’ this morning – WOOOP WOOP!!

Now for Sunday we may see and definitely need a soaking rain like this is showing but the High pressure system to our north or ridge is squashing all of our possibilities ugghhh!!
Snow chart – growing like a CHIA pet here peeps – we recorded the 4th lowest ice and snow extent this past August EVERRRR – did I say EVER!!!
Joe Bastardi calling for a cold and snowy winter – when hasn’t he?? But he has valid points as to why and if it comes to fruition then we can see some major snows – SNOW WEENIES WILL REJOICE!!!
Lastly, need to keep an eye on the tropics – Caribbean for that – no not because Pope Francis – my confirmation namesake- visited Cuba – we could see something tropical develop here and the situation maybe ripe for it.
