Delightful, Dog Days, Danger ??

Peeps,
We have a very nice couple of days to enjoy as summer winds down (the Delightful), yes sorry to say children (even adults who are kids). Then the humidity will start to build back come Sunday and temps will rise to 90 or low 90’s possibly give us one last heat wave (Dog Days) – from Monday until Wed next week possibly Thursday. Temps are running 3-4 degrees above normal for this month of August.
Now, all eyes will turn to the Caribbean where Danger is a lurking? Who is this danger you ask?
Erika – another female – Gloria, Irene, Sandy – why such? Who knows but she is progged to pack a good punch. The Carribean will see her as a trop storm but when she exits the Bahamas the atmosphere is more favorable for development. This is where things get very interesting, the models CMC, Euro and now GFS rapidly intensify her to a CAT 2 hurricane that is projected to make landfall at non other than the Outer Banks (OBX). There is still A LOT of time and I will keep yuo update but further projections are showing her undercutting the ridge in the Atlantic and climbing up the coast at a slow pace, almost taking a path that Irene did but much stronger than Irene peeps. The problem is that the waters off the coast of the mid Atlantic are running 2-3 degrees above normal which would fuel her.
Off of Fla
Crashing into OBX
Then traveling up the coast
Here is Irene’s path – eerily similar
I’ll keep you posted and have a great day – Time frame you ask – Labor Day weekend – ughhhh!!
