Peeps,
On this Friday afternoon, evening as some of you may be sitting in the parking lot of the Garden State Parkway making one’s way to the start of the summer at the shore – woop woop!
Tonight – chilly downright cold in NNJ where some areas in the ruburbs (rural suburbs)Upper Passaic County, Sussex County and LHV may see frost – yikes!!! 30’s and 40’s
Depends – well not for us this weekend – the models have totally backed off and looks like a cool Saturday with temps in the low to mid 70’s if you call that cool and then we warm up Sunday and Monday with more clouds than sun Monday. Stray showers are possible Saturday and Monday.
Ocean temps are mid to high 50’s maybe 60 the further south you go – Atlantic and Cape May counties. Why? Hell look at the winter we just had and this is an early Memorial Day weekend date wise. Push this back to the 29 or 30th and we see temps in the 60 range
HEAT -Get the AC ready peeps – highs from Tuesday through net Saturday look to be 87-92 degrees across the area with humidity building in.
With that being said we have a warmer and possibly active period through early June – active being T-REX = Thunderstorms. The ridge that was over the great plains is going to slide east and bring us the warmth sustained and humidity along with the risk of t-storms that i refer to as T-REX!
Have a great Memorial Day weekend and let’s ALL pay homage to our service men and woman who have paid the ultimate sacrifice and served for you, me and everyone else in this great country we call America!!! God Bless and Siempere Fi!

Drewgov,
Thank you for the comment. I guess your granddaughters have heard my reputation as the “weatherman” at Highlands especially when it comes to snow days! Thank you for the kind words and more so for becoming one my followers. Please pass the word and my site (link) along to others if they wish to see, read and know about the other side of this wonderful phenomena we call the weather. Have a great night.
