This storm is coming to fruition peeps – it’s called Grand Solar Minimum rolling into effect not the mythical theory of GW. Climate change yes and don’t confuse the two – our planet is always changing and always will.  /rant

Back to this storm – Thursday – Friday timeframe meaning afternoon through morning.

Start as snow Thursday and may change to sleet and freezing rain and maybe rain for the NYC Metro/LI but the burbs 25-30 miles N & W of NYC – Interstate 287 is the new barrier for storms in NNJ – anyone N & W better get your snow shovels ready cause we can see inches of snow and then sleet and freezing rain. This map is not verbatim snow meaning it shows snow, sleet and freezing rain accumulations in total precipitable water.

NW NJ, Western Passaic, Orange and Sullivan Counties, Poconos and Guerci Country house  regions = MADONNE this storm may be one for the record books.

Get the generators ready peeps as well just as a precaution in these areas noted above if there is more ice than snow just a heads up.

Coastal NJ may see wet snow flakes but doesn’t look to accumulate at this time.

EURO IS MORE ………………..REAL??  For snow accumulations yes but we’ll see.

Warm up is muted maybe 3 days from the 26 to 29th and temps don’t get above 50* – some friggin warm, up. December is going to rock peeps -SNOW QUEEN AND PRINCESS gonna be given the Al Q much MUCH weather luvin WOOP WOOOOOP!

There is a massive Scandinavian Block forming that will bridge over the top of the HIgh LAtitudes causing cold to lock in and storms to slow up like it did the Dalton Minimum of the late 1700’s – LOL! That deep purple circle is the MASSIVE DEEP block.

 

 

So get he winter gear people (I told ya’ll) and could we see our 1st snow day??? There is also snow/ snow showers for Sunday – Monday as well on the latest.
