2’s Plus

Biblical rains yesterday – this is what Noah experience from what scripture states but then again that is all one man’s recollection – was he of right sound mind or delusional like others?? Anyway we picked up over 2.5” here in NNJ and we will stay somewhat wet and chilly through the weekend now so it looks. Someone cut the low off and it is just going to meander over OH Canada for a while as the Greenland block presses on it and says chill Mr. LP we aint gots nowhere to be so hang like a bat from a tree (you are now thinking I am delusional LOL!!)

LGR – 2 more wins and we shake hands! Umm those of you that don’t know the shaking of the hands between teams means the series has ended and it is the gentlemen’s gesture of a rough and tumble game on each teams quest for silver (the Stanley Cup – I saw the original cup in Toronto over spring break – it is gorgeous!!

30’s

Well Big Momma throwin’ down some colder abnormally cold air for air – going to feel more like late March if Mr. Sun can shine down upon us. Temps in the ruburbs will see 30’s as low temps Monday, Tues and Wed morning with Frost and Freeze warning for these areas – West Milford region Sussex County area and maybe even into NW Bergen County and Rockland. So turn the heat back on peeps and stoke that fireplace because we are going to need it this week. City and LI will get into the low 40’s.

WETNESS into June

It looked like we’d have a warm second half but after the past two days of model runs – no not the hotties that walk down the catwalk – the weather models I am speaking here. They are showing high latitude blocking that will be prevalent leading to cooler than normal overall for even the second half of the month. My man isotherm says watch for a heat spell/wave to hit early June and Big Momma rebalances things out – perfect just in time for the end of school and kids to stick to their seats and seat running down ones epidermis as you are still.

These orangy color anomalies on the top chart represent high latitude blocking which will induce colder temps  in the mid latitudes = US (as in me and you peepers!)!Look at how could Europe is holy snikes – (the blue equals cold – universal language here)

Mother Day weekend aint lookin to hot either – could have a coastal storm.
